Architecturally unique, parts of Caro Hotel date from up to 2000 years ago. Original features include a 2nd-century Roman mosaic, part of the 13th-century Arabic city walls and Gothic arches. The façade dates from the 19th century.
Plaza de la Virgen and Valencia's basilica are within 5 minutes’ walk of the hotel. La Lonja de la Seda, the medieval market and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 10-minute walk away.
